This is a watercolour demonstration using my simple approach to ink and wash. I use a loose watercolour method using a big brush with lovely juicy washes. This video shows the full technique from start to finish. The technique is similar to Edward Wesson but uses brighter colours. In this video I draw with ink with pencil lines to help with perspective. Watercolours used (all Windsor and Newton)- French Ultramarine, Colbolt Blue, Burnt Sienna, Windsor Yellow, Permanent Rose. The paper is Hahnemuhle anniversary watercolour paper, approx 30 * 40 inches. Brushes are a Jackson Quill No6, a Number 10 round and a long hair number 6.
